In this role, you will partner with founders, the team at MVL, and the investors at Madrona to build companies from the ground up. As Manager, Talent you will play a critical role in sourcing, evaluating, and recruiting founding CEOs and CTOs to join promising, venture scale ideas. Once these ideas mature and become full fledged companies, you will help the CEO recruit a founding team to take them to the next level. As the companies “spinout” of MVL, you will continue to advise the founders as they scale up their teams throughout various growth and fundraising stages. Role requirements:

  • Proven experience in executive recruiting (ideally for early stage, growth companies)
  • Deep understanding of candidate sourcing and pipeline development 
  • Developing candidate profiles and database management 
  • Developing MVL's program for engaging (over the long term) high caliber candidates that may be potential founders in the future
  • Networking and building relationships with CEOs and venture capitalists 
  • Strong knowledge of candidate selection methods and models
  • Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using ATS, recruiting software and databases
  • Experience sourcing diverse talent
  • Leading recruiting events

Compensation:

Compensation will reflect the nature of the opportunity, in line with early-stage companies including both equity and cash.
