Who are we?

Madrona Venture Labs (MVL) is the startup studio and incubation arm of Madrona Venture Group – the leading venture capital firm in the Pacific Northwest. We build ambitious, innovative companies in the domains of AI-driven applications, automation, digital transformation of consumer experiences, and the future of work. Our team hustles and builds alongside new founders to turn their ideas into venture-scale businesses.

Life here is fast-paced, challenging, and a whole lot of fun. If you want to be an entrepreneur, MVL is the opportune place for you to learn the fundamentals of what it takes to build a technology startup from day 0.

To learn more about MVL, check out our Manifesto.

Who are you?

As an intern with MVL, you will get a seat at the table as our team scales out initial ideas and businesses on the cutting-edge of technology. This will be a hands-on learning experience where you will contribute to many of the crucial activities involved with starting and running venture-backed startups, including exposure to product sprints, ideation sessions, customer interviews, and business planning.

We expect interns to operate in-person with our team in Seattle three days a week, with the option to work remotely two days a week. Upon acceptance, you will be paired with a specific partner on the MVL team and will report directly to them.
